Dr. Switzer has worked with leaders in Cambodia, Ecuador and North Ireland. He is sensitive to working cross-culturally to present leadership training that is culturally appropriate. The following provides an overview of his work in these countries.
Cambodia
Dr. Switzer developed a leadership development program for a network of more than 800 churches in Cambodia. The project included touring the country to meet pastors in various villages and towns, conducting a cross-cultural needs assessment; designing the content taking into consideration senior leadership input and needs assessment information; and conducting a four-week train-the-trainer Course for 25 nationals in country.
Ecuador
Dr. Switzer was invited by Regent University to participate in a pilot Certificate in Organizational Leadership Course in Ecuador. The focus of the course was strategic thinking and strategic planning. Course participants included judges, business people, and university administration, including the president of the host university.
Northern Ireland
Dr. Switzer conducted workshops for the Northern Ireland Police Services on the topic of Leadership and Coaching…An American Policing Perspective. He also conducted a team building workshop for a small unit of the organization.
